Happy July 9 Birthday

Helen and Helen!

Y'all know I like the Fox show "Bones," right? I've already converted my son and his fiancee to the fandom, and now I've snagged my grandson, too. It's been raining here, and he's bored, so I suggested watching the first episode of Bones to see if he'd like it.
It was the start of a Bones marathon...LOL...we're partway through the first season, and I imagine we'll finish the whole series while he's here. If we run out of Bones, we can always do Stargate or Star Trek...yea, he likes those too! I wonder if it's genetic? LOL...
It's been fun so far, but, in the almost 3 years since I've seen him, he sure has grown. He's almost 13, with all the smart-ass the age entails. But he's still a sweet kid and I'm enjoying the visit immensely.

Sorry for the silence. Hard to keep a connection for more than a few seconds. I just had to say "Yippee!" The Church of England has FINALLY agreed to ordain female bishops. Yes, it's late and it's taken them an unconscionably long time, but they did it! Catholics next, I trust.

Anyone reading this who thinks women should not be ordained should be prepared to answer the simple question, "Of what use is a penis in worship?" If you don't have an answer, you don't have a case. You'll also need to explain to me why God keeps giving women vocations if ordaining them is a sin. Just who is it a sin against?
